Oscars 2023: Vencedores

A 95.ª cerimónia dos Oscars acontece na madrugada de 12 para 13 de Março, no Dolby Theatre, em Los Angeles.  O anfitrião foi Jimmy Kimmel e, no Hoje Vi(vi) um Filme, estivemos a acompanhar e a actualizar os vencedores em tempo real. 

Everything Everywhere All at Once (Tudo em Todo o Lado ao Mesmo Tempo) foi o grande premiado da noite com sete estatuetas.

Tudo em Todo o Lado ao Mesmo Tempo é uma frenética viagem criada por Daniel Scheinert e Daniel Kwan, em busca do seu lugar no(s) universo(s).

"Uma imigrante chinesa exausta, que tenta organizar os seus impostos, vê-se arrastada para uma louca aventura onde só ela pode salvar o mundo explorando outros universos ligados às vidas que poderia ter levado."

Uma infinidade de possibilidades, personalidades e habilidades reúnem-se na amálgama de acontecimentos que povoam um dia na vida de Evelyn Wang, a protagonista, visivelmente desencantada com o que a rodeia. Atolada em trabalho, com impostos por regularizar, uma relação difícil com a filha, o marido à beira de pedir o divórcio e o pai conservador de visita, a rotina de Evelyn não tem nada de tranquilo.

Ao experimentar Tudo em Todo o Lado ao Mesmo Tempo, ela, o marido, a filha e o pai encontram-se múltiplas vezes, sempre em possibilidades de vida distintas da real. Evelyn parece ser capaz de analisar, pela primeira vez em muitos anos, tudo aquilo que poderia ter sido se não tivesse feito as escolhas que fez.

Destaque para as interpretações de Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu e Jamie Lee Curtis que se transformam inúmeras vezes e quase instantaneamente nas mais inusitadas personagens, e percorrendo comédia, drama e acção. Há que destacar ainda o trabalho de montagem, efeitos especiais e caracterização de Tudo em Todo o Lado ao Mesmo Tempo, equipas fundamentais para o visual tão característico da longa-metragem, hiper-ritmada e repleta de cor.

Imaginação - e referências - não falta a Daniel Scheinert e Daniel Kwan, que criam os mais inesperados multiversos e super-poderes, com humor e muito nonsense à mistura. Contudo, entre tantos acontecimentos, artes marciais e sonhos não cumpridos, o objectivo final do filme perde-se e torna-o inconsequente.
